Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies

UPPD is recognized as a Gold Standard agency by the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies (CALEA).  There are only about 667 police agencies in the U.S. that have achieved CALEA accreditation.  The process requires continued compliance with over 480 standards of law enforcement professionalism.
