The Curtis Park Baseball Field is programmed primarily by the Park Cities YMCA during the spring and fall months. The field is currently not rented to individuals or teams for practice, and it’s used on a first come basis. For youth programming questions, or to sign your child up for youth sports, please contact the Park Cities YMCA.

All courts have fiberglass practice backboards and are lighted for evening play. A push-button switch located on the fence can turn on the tennis lights. A main timer allows the switch to activate from dusk to 10:00 p.m. only. Once the switch is pushed, allow 5-10 minutes for the bulbs to heat up and light the court. To report lighting problems or net repairs, call the Parks and Recreation Department at 214-987-5488.
Tennis courts are available for University Park residents only. A tennis permit is required to make a reservation. Reservations for the tennis courts can be made up to (2) days in advance. For reservations, please log in to the City's online reservation system.

If you are purchasing a tennis permit for the first time, you must do this in person at the Peek Service Center, 4420 Worcola St, Dallas 75206.

For your Child’s safety, the playground at Curtis Park is designed with two separate units based on recommended age usage by the Consumer Product Safety Council. The age groups covered are 2-to 5-year olds and 5-to 12-year olds.
The picnic area may be reserved for use by residents. The picnic area has nine (9) picnic tables and three (3) small grills and three (3) large grills. For reservations, please call 214-987-5488.
Curtis Park Lake is open year-round to young anglers.
The trail system meanders throughout the entire park site. The trail system is open to the public for walking and jogging from 6 a.m. until 11 p.m.
